Day 4 - Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary

Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary @ Brisbane is quite a nice place to visit. When I saw the Koala's pictures, I think they are cute animals. But I don't know they are so smelly... Hahaha....

When I first enter the Koala Sanctuary, there smell that I thought it belongs to the nature. When I hug the koala for the pictures shooting, now I know... this is their special smell. But no worry, if you a nature lover, you will get use to it in very short time.

You pay the entrance ticket is not only to see Mr Koala. But you can see other animals too like Kangaroo, guinea pigs, donkey, reptiels, platypus, raptors and many others. There are some shows that you can catch up the time in different sections. You can take pictures with any of the kangaroos that are jumping around, lazy lying, kangaroo with joey in the pocket (if you can find one.)

It is very convenient to go Lone Pine by public transport. You can catch the 445 translink bus to the destination.

No matter how exciting you are, don't scare them. They are so adorable and gentle animals.... I really enjoy to walk around in this place and this is a good place to bring your kids to know the nature.

Special attention: If you found Koala death or alive along the roadside or anywhere else, please contact 1-800-ANIMAL to rescue them. Save the Koalas!!!
