8D7N Korea + Jeju Island Experience

So we got to know Korea is very hit now as listed country to visit. This time now is the Oppa Gangnam Style moment that I'm going to Korea unexpectedly. I found that Korean are very proud of themselves in every product of theirs. They are very health conscious since young and very good drinker. I don't really accept the culture difference that they are bit not friendly, signboard has no alphabetic words other than Korea words. I find it's hard for back packers that don't understand Korean and the living expenses is very high. So I don't really recommend Korea as a back pack country for budget travellers.

Here are the itinerary of mine and it's kind of rushing. You can try to adjust accordingly 1 or 2 days longer for some places that you would like to spend more time. The itinerary of mine is just enough for me to take pictures in very fast action. Photograph lover - you might need more time than this.

If you are going for Autumn, please have your sun block lotion prepared. It will be very dry and the temperature within morning & day time is 10 degree different. To catch full yellowish and redish scenery, go during October and November. I went during Sept is little bit too early and get dissappointment of seeing greenery still.

Day 1 - Arrival from Kuala Lumpur by midnight flight about 7am. We started the visitation at Seoul to 63 Tower (view of Seoul city from top building) - Underwater world - Wax Museum. Lunch (Bibimbap) then proceed to airport fro Jeju Island departure. After arrived Jeju, we went toJeju Folklore & Natural History Museum before dinner.

Day 2 - Due to the attractions distance is within an hour journey, we started tour at 8am to Orange Farm - Seongsan IIchulbong - Seongeup Village - Seopjikoji - Cheonjiyeon Waterfall - Oedolgae - Mystery Road - Yongduan Rock. (You might want to split to two days if you take time to take pictures and listen history at the place itself by your tour guide.)

Day 3 - Take domestic flight back from Jeju to Seoul. Spending the whole day at Everland before 3 hours journey to the hotel stay nearby Mt Sorak.

Day 4 - Going to Mt Sorak National Park and went up with cable car. - Teddy Bear Farm - Light House - Daepohaeng fish market - Overnight at Odaesan. (I can't overcome to have naked ginseng spa...argh....wasted!)

Day 5 - Heading to Nami Island (Winter Sonata) - Ginseng Shop - President Place - Ginseng Foot Spa cum Ginseng Mask - Ginseng Chicken Soup - Kimchi Making Session cum Korean costume - Dongdaemun (Shopping). (Ooooh! what a ginseng day!!!)

Day 6 - Shopping day..... Cosmetic Shop, Seaweed Factory,- Duty free shop - Deoksugung Palace - Sarangchae - Myeongdong - Lotte Duty Free. Today is the day to finished your pocket money.

Day 7 - Traffic jam during weekday. So getting quite long time to the breakfast place then go to Shinchon Lady street continue shopping. Sent to hotel nearby Incheon airport opposite Eurwangni Beach. Had great seafood dinner.

Day 8 - Goodbye Seoul with morning flight. Continue shopping at airport for duty free with left over money.... :D

Hope the info is useful for those preparing trip to Korea.
