Krabi, Thailand

This was a memorable and relaxing trip. I love it so much!!!

Apart from the busy life in city, people are looking ways of relaxing. Though travelling is tiring as well. Krabi is really a nice place to go for relax while having tours, at least away from the crowd. I heard lots of comments saying Krabi is very dead or boring during night time. But so far I enjoyed very much.

First day when we arrived is around evening time. So we went to the stall opposite the hotel we stayed to grab some local Thai food. It is nice as it is localize but not mixing with other country’s favor. Unfortunately, it’s raining for a while but we manage to walk along the street at Aonang Beach. Yah!!! Looking for swimming suit…hehehe…As usual…gals are meant for shopping….

We went to 4 islands hopping the following days. The vehicle used to pick us up is like lorry type and can have 30 seaters…there’s kind feeling of selling us to be the slaves feel…  I love the Tela wake beach so much as there’s connecting sandy beach within two islands. People can walk within two islands by crossing the sandy beach. Unfortunately, the walking sandy beach is covered by the sea water. If you visit the place during full moon, you can see the sandy beach connection clearly.

Comparing to the island hopping, I like the kayaking scenery better. We went to Bon Thor for kayaking in Day 3. We canoeing along the river and visiting the caves with the paintings on the caves wall. It’s so mystery and to guess what’s that. A pair of hands with 5 and 6 fingers, some looks like alien etc… While we canoeing into a place where surrounded by the hills rocks, it led us to think the Anaconda movie where all the snakes having their rehabilitation in that place….yyeee……

Hungry is the matter…. We went to Krabi town which is 30 mins away from Aonang Beach. Well… we missed the night market because it’s only available during weekends. But we didn’t miss the food at the fresh market and people are looking at us like alien. I think that place only local people will have their meal there. The funniest thing is, we ordered ‘leng chi kang’ mixed with soya bean due to communication problem and we can’t stop laughing about it. So weird but nice…new try…

We quite enjoy eating local food there like BBQ Pork (Krabi Town), Pancake (Aonang), BBQ snapper fish, Pork porridge with ‘yao zha guai’, Fried Chicken sticky rice (next to Krabi resort at the morning) etc….

Massage???? Oh ya! If you get sunburn, you can try the aloe vera massage treatment. It’s cooling and good for those get sunburn….like me…:D
