Langkawi Trip - Part 1

This is my 2nd time went to Langkawi and it's also the 2nd annual trip with my group of friends. This is an unforgettable trip and all of us enjoyed very much even we are so tired. I have the mindset of Langkawi is all about beaches and islands. But I never know that we can spend 3 days 2 nights just nice for the island. No rushing, free and easy, all by our own time.

If you like to have a relaxing trip with no rush, I will suggest you to rent a car and go around the island. Take your own sweet time and do whatever you want. Let me share with you what we did along this trip.

Day 1 - We took the earliest flight to Langkawi which we need to woke up so earlier at 4am ++. Arsh....so sleepy but unfortunately I'm not able to sleep in the flight. Once arrived, of course we go hunt for food at a food court with Fried Java Mee. Then we checked in hotel and take a rest while waiting for another friend's arrival from Penang. While waiting, we played 'cho dai di' with Jumbo Cards and UNO. Oh my! our laughter wakes me up totally.

Then we went lunch at a road side stall which selling Laksa, Rojak, Cendol by the beach side while next to the airport runway. Now is 3pm++ and we started our journey in Langkawi Island. First stop is the Underwater World and our short form for it became Under World. Haha! Now I realised those big fishes are so ugly...Yiew!!! Watched penguin's performance, big stingrays, small little tiny prawn (looks so fake), colorful fishes like street lights, jelly fish in blue aquarium (like blue lightning) and etc. We did spent quite long time there. Each person's entrance is RM 28.

We tried to catch up the cable car session. While we arrived, the uphill is raining and we have to go the next day. Walk around the Oriental Village with many shops around. Then we planned to go back hotel to fresh up and go for dinner. Woooo....who can resist the beauty of the evening and the environment of the hotel. Oh ya! We are staying De Baron Langkawi and the Survivor Shooting Crews staying at the same hotel as well... Of course....many handsome guys...ho! ho! Okie....we decided go dinner without shower at Pantai Cenang.

We chose a Chinese Seafood Restaurant and we all thought it should be nice, but....sad and disappointed. After dinner, we must take a walk to digest our stomach. Then, we walking along the P.Cenang street. You will never get hungy because there are too many restaurants along the way and just think the shopping shops are too little.

Langkawi is famous of beaches, how can we miss this out? So we went to take a walk at the beach side. Maybe due to the weather condition, wind is blowing strongly and you can feel the sands passing by your feet. Even it was a dark night, we have the feeling like walking at the desert because of the sands. Well....everyone looks tired since woke up so early in the morning. Time to return to the hotel and fresh up, get a good sleep for the next day.
