Hot Air Balloon, Gold Coast

Here come the best part of the trip - The Hot Air Balloon ride with Vineyard Breakfast at O'Reiley's. The cheapest i found for the hot air balloon ride is AUD 240 per person. We've got to get up early at the morning about 4am. And then we're picked up to the destination. Yay! It's so exciting thou the eyes still yet open.

It's quite far from the town and hence I managed to catch some sleep during the journey where I can't see any view since the day is still dark. Approaching to the destination and saw the balloon was ready there and waiting for us. Woo wow~ So cold early at the morning because of winter, and there...you know what? A new marry couple is having their wedding photo shoots... Oh my! In such cold weather and early morning.

You know...the feeling of getting high up of the sky without any blockage like the window shield on the plane. It's kinda fun, exciting and scary. Look down to the land with pieces of green, brown, hills, cloud that I thought is lake, above the height with open sight....this world is so huge, the mother nature is so pretty, the creation of God is so amazing, the air is so fresh .....

Every air I breath in makes me feel so great and amazing. Watching at the lovely sunrise at different sight, different height, different feel.... the words just simply can't describe how wonderful it is. This is a lovable activity that I've done so right and enjoyed among the trips I've been traveled.

Palazzo Versace, Gold Coast

Ah Ha! You think I'm staying here??? Oh No!!! I wish I am... hehehhe... I was told the Super Stars will come and stay at this hotel like Beyonce, Britney and others. Look at the Audi at the entrance... Slivering!!!!

How much is the rate per night?? Hrm....I leave it to you to check!

The Vibe Hotel, Gold Coast

The Vibe Hotel in Gold Coast is quite a good location hotel with easy access to everywhere. First we arrived from Brisbane and took a bus to Pacific Fair. After a corner and go straight within 5 mins walk, we have found the hotel. It's not so far away.

Just right behide the hotel is the jetty where you can book your whale watching tour conveniently and depart at the same place. Across the street there's a supermarket to buy your beer or wine, else you can easily have a drink at the Titanium Bar just right at the hotel.

Further up, there's a wax museum after a junction. Across the street there's the happening place Surfer's Paradise. How would you ever miss your best entertainment in the town with such easy location?

The hotel rate is reasonable and you could get early bird discount if you book earlier. The hotel room is clean and nice with wonderful scenery if you are facing the river.

Day 6 & 7 - Gold Coast Australia

Comes to the near end of my Australia Journey. So I'm saying good-bye Brisbane and here I come Gold Coast. We to the express train and reach Gold Coast, took bus stoped at the Pacific Fair, walk over the street and checked in The Vibe Hotel.
Woo....it's lunch time and feeling hungry. My beloved friend has prepared me some carborana spaghetti and the hotel has microwave. That's perfect!!!! After a simple lunch, I can't wait to see and look around this place.
First for most... I'm going to Palazzo Versace. It's been heard for so long and must take a look. Then we go to Harbour Town for shopping. I wasn't think to shop at Aus, but this is sooooo cheap with not bad quality. Really fun and happy...
With the tiring feet and cooling weather, I went to an Irish Bar for beef steak... Yummy... Guess what??? Only AUD 10 per set, I think consider cheap at there.
The last day of mine in Gold Coast is definitely a perfect day full with activities started early morning till the night. Amazing beautiful Hot Air Balloon ride, exciting whale watching and enjoyable Cruise Seafood Dinner. I was so tired till I'm so freeze.... Muahahaha!!!!!

The Brisbane Museum

All the time Museum is a boring place with historical facts and pictures in my mind. Museum is a place that never catch my attention to pay a visit whenever I travel. The museum in Brisbane is surprisingly makes me change that mind.

There are many interesting facts that I never thought of it. The best part of it...I found Felix the Cat in the museum. This cartoon was once famous during my childhood. And a friend of mine who is 7 years elder than me was wondering how do I know this cartoon. Hahaha.... amazing right?

Story Bridge, Brisbane

There are many bridges in Brisbane because there are rivers in the city. This bridge is not only for the vehicles but also shared pedestrian and cycle way connecting each side. Bradfield Highway on this bridge is the shortest highway in Australia.

It is such a nice scene where people can have a walk or jog from the Eagle Street Pier along the river. Or just have a fresh breath after a day work. Here are some photoshots to share with you.

Queen Street Morning Market

Yum! Yum! There many fresh food, fruits, vege, sausages, yogurt, bread and many more. So much food makes me craving for everything. But I was too full to have all this into my stomach. Hence I chose my favourite and healthy food - Yogurt!!! Yummy!

I didn't know this market when I got down from the bus and I was so excited to see all these freshness. Accordingly, this market is open every Wednesday morning. Try to check this out and I've got Vege Pocket from the Eat A Pocket stall.

Day 5 - Brisbane Walk About

Day 5 here in Austrialia...I had changed my plan to walk around this city and dicover more. I went to the Queen Street morning market and found out there lots of interesting things. Hrm....Perhaps I seldom go to market... LOL.

Then I walked crossing the bridge to the Museum. Oh! The museum has a lots of interesting stuff, fun & facts. I will never want to visit a museum or art gallery when I'm visiting a country. Because it is bored. But not to this one and I'm quite like it and has spent sometime in there.

Hrm....where to go after that???? Arghh....just take the bus to Chinatown perhaps. Look for food...yah! A place with variety of foods and you just get what you want.

I was little bit lost when trying to find way back to UQ. And there....so beautiful view for the Story Bridge. Hahaha...of course for another photo session. It can't be missed anyway. Continue walking tiredly and look for the jetty to take ferry back to UQ. You know what....walked from this jetty to another jetty because ......

Well...sometimes mistakes happened but led you to have more scenic places that you have not expected. This what I called.....DISCOVERY!!!
