Tip of Borneo

The Tip Of Borneo - one of the 'ears' at the Sabah's map. A scenic place that is 3 hours further from the Kota Kinabalu city. The rocky seaside with the nature beauty that I couldn't resist to enjoy the sea breeze.
I can't contempt the power of the wind erosion that makes it such a beautiful rocks patterns. It takes how many billions year to become the amazing scenic like this. I felt angry and sad when I saw some people drew their name on the rocks. This is so annoying where these belongs to the public and not your own property.
I hope those who visit this place learn how to appreciate this place and not to destroy it or polute the place with rubbish. This is a very pethetic action.
This is the early morning scene with the lighthouse.
I think this side of the rock is a very nice nature painting.

Passion Road Restaurant - Garden Wedding Dinner

I've got a wedding invitation from my college friend to this Passion Road Restaurant located at Jalan Yap Kwan Seng, Ampang. Such a nice and lovely place for a new couple to have a garden style wedding reception here.

The overall decoration of the wedding party is very sweet and lovely. With the greeneries and flowers bouquet, looks so nature and the coordinations are perfect.

I wish to have a wedding reception similar to this as well if I have the chance to get married. :P
Although it is open air, but it's covered with tent top. The only sad thing is it rained heavily before the wedding starts. The reception table hence has to moved in to the indoor.

Long table setting might have some feel of palace dinner. The place little bit narrow and you might able to see the projector presentation if you sit far at the end. That night we had buffet style dinner and long queue.

Golden Palm Resort Sepang - Gold Coast Sepang

Golden Palm Resort Sepang is a palm shape designe resort which is on top of the sea but you can't just jump into the sea from your room. Too bad.....

I have a chance to have a stay with my friends over a weekend to this resort. But we are quite disspointed with the service provided. We think the standard of service doesn't worth for the amount of money paid.

Although this is a secluded area as a standard high class resort with such pricing, the facilities provided is not that fantastic. We have to carry our own luggage and wait for the buggy with no bell boy service.

The buggies always full of people from one end to another.

The breakfast choices are not so international and fantastic. It is just as normal meals and it cost about RM 50+ per person. When the resort is full with guests, I think the dining area and swimming pool are too crowded with people.

For me, a resort supposed to be a relaxing place and with such crowns of people I don't feel it anymore.

The overall staying environment still ok but it is just too hot and Bagan Lalang always has no wind no matter what time we went.

Begger Chicken, Banting

。。哈哈!

I have been craving for begger chicken for a long time but I always missed the chance to go for it. This place is secluded area somewhere in Banting near Bukit Jugra. You have to make your booking before you are going to this restaurant and they do not serve walk-in guests without booking.

I've been imagine the begger chicken is dry food but I do not know that the herbal source that flowing out from the chicken is so nice and sweet. We ordered the chicken soup as well and both taste little bit different though both are using chinese herbal as the spices for the dish.

The best part is the fish cake that really looks like a whole fish. I think the cook is so amazing and have so much patient to make this dish. There are many things that we have not try but at least I've get to know how does the famous begger chicken looks like.

Poco Homemade, Cafe & Atelier, Bangsar

You might realise this shop if you never come to this area. Poco Homemade, Cafe & Atelier is located at a simpl row shop within the housing area Bangsar. They provides homecook Japanese food with some imported/handmade stuff from Japan.

Poco Homemade is quite a unique concept to me. Even they have displayed many items in the shop for selling such as imported cloths and bags from Japan, natural soaps, handmade hairclips and many other things; the place looks very simple and comfortable.

From the way you see the display items, you do not have the feel that they are actually selling those items. The cloths is bought from Japan during the owner's travel to Japan. She thinks the quality of the cloths are very comfortable so she bought it back and sell it to those who has fade with the items. The bags are handmade by the owner and each design will have only one. So faster grab for yours.

I can feel the owner manages Poco with full hearts. A little serviette is folded in cloth shape and the food taste.... you can't find it elsewhere.

1, Lorong Kurau, Bangsar.

Tue-Sun : 12 noon till 9:30 pm.

Port Dickson - A classic story

The amazing life of the nature.
This tree is the only one along the rocky extended beach. Why so lonely?
These 3 little kids along the journey are so sweet and lovely. The scenery from the rocky beach.
Such a blue blue sky and nice weather.
View from the top of a hill where people go to watch season birds.
The Lighthouse Tower.

A short getaway from Kuala Lumpur - Port Dickson. Thinking to getting myself away from the big city with all the buildings surrounding makes me feel better to refresh myself over the weekend. By coincidentally, I got the chance to went there with my colleague and his friends with kids.

There's a classic story that I would like to share during the journey. One of the kids, the little brother who is only 2 years old. I forgot what he said that is not a good manner, I told him to apologise. In this days, I don't a kid willing to apologise to you even they are wrong. He stopped a while and turned to me, unexpectably, he said:" Sorry, baby!"

Laugh out loud and we were shocked and I was melted with his sweet apology. He makes my day....

With no plan, with no rush, with no schedule, we enjoyed ourselves just walking to 1-2 places along the day. Relaxing our mind and soul from the daily routine bored life. Sometimes a trip doesn't mean to have all good foods and good place, but with good people, you will enjoy the trip as well.
