Begger Chicken, Banting

。。哈哈

I have been craving for begger chicken for a long time but I always missed the chance to go for it. This place is secluded area somewhere in Banting near Bukit Jugra. You have to make your booking before you are going to this restaurant and they do not serve walk-in guests without booking.

I've been imagine the begger chicken is dry food but I do not know that the herbal source that flowing out from the chicken is so nice and sweet. We ordered the chicken soup as well and both taste little bit different though both are using chinese herbal as the spices for the dish.

The best part is the fish cake that really looks like a whole fish. I think the cook is so amazing and have so much patient to make this dish. There are many things that we have not try but at least I've get to know how does the famous begger chicken looks like.

Restaurant Saba, Cyberjaya

Have you ever tried really good taste Arab? What is the thought in your mind when Arab food mentioned? Plenty of spices? Big portion? I’m not sure about the others but this Arab restaurant, I was there since its first opening. We don’t dare to get into this shop because we never tried Arab food before, but day by day, there are too limited choices around that area and we decided to try it out. Surprisingly, we are addicted with it.

Restaurant Saba is located at Cyberjaya, opposite the bus terminal shop lots – CBD Perdana next to HSBC. The most attracted and famous dishes are the Lamb/Chicken Kabsah/Hanith with their special rice. I personally like Lamb Kabsah the most because the lamb is so soft and tasty. The rice is big and long with little bit color. Together with their specialized chili sauce bit sour and spicy. It is just a great combination!

The Beef Mogagul is served with kind of chapatti but it is little bit different. It is crunchier than chapatti. The beef is little bit juicy with mix of the small chillies, tomatoes, etc. With their cooking recipe, it is so fantastic that you will fall in love with it.

Their omelets is little bit different from we had normally. The ingredients of it are so rich and you can feel greatness of the taste more than a normal omelets. They also have Kebab served but are better than the one you have in the fast food restaurant. The Kebab is served with chapattis and some French fries but just forget about the fries.

If you dare to try their drinks, they have few drinks are imported from their country. As long as you have never seen the name before form the menu, you can order and have a try. After a great dinner, you can go for a walk along the lake in Cyberjaya, which allow you to see the bridge scenery across the lake.

Check it out for the upcoming post!

Broga Hills, Semenyih

Flying kites
The day before light
1st light of the day
View from 2nd Peak
Sun shining the earth

I think most of you have been to Broga Hills, if not, you must be heard about it. It is a hiking hill that located at Semenyih and quite famous recently. I’ve been missed out many invitations from different groups of friends due to busy appointments. *Sigh* finally I can make it this time.
We went for the sunrise but of course you can’t see the sun but the first light of the day. I think many of you who have been there experienced a quite similar situation like me while hiking at the first stage, : “why am I doing here in such an early morning? I supposedly am sleeping on my bed now.” Sounds familiar? Hahaha….
There are 4 peaks altogether to target. Before the first peak, it is very sloppy and hardest. While we reached half way, we thought to let go and just have a look of the scenery just right there. However, after rest for 15mins, our breath slowly recovers and we continue. Oh…there are so many people, so crowded.
Peak by peak and we finally reached to the 4th peak which is the top one. The 4th peak has only one way which you have to use the rope to climb up the stone. Traffic jam and we are stacked just to wait for the rope to go up. You can imagine how many people are there. We have to take turn waiting people to come down while we are waiting to go up.
The 4th peak’s scenery is not as nice as the previous peaks because too many objects are blocking the view. And it needs harder strength to reach the peak. Haha…so…what you’ve given and don’t expect return for the same…..
The view from the peak actually is not as nice as what I expected. But I do enjoy the first sunlight of the day shining on us. Within that, we still can see the city is covered by a layer of white mist. The feeling is fresh and the whole world is so green and new. Standing up on the peak is like on top of the world. One thing that irritates me is too many people, crowded and lost the feel of nature. It doesn’t have the wind blowing freshly on your face but at least it is not so hot even the sun has raised.
Just for your info, now they have started to collect parking fees at RM2 per vehicle. In future…..I think will increase more and I seriously don’t think that piece of land belong to them.  I can’t really enjoy as what I expected also because too many people are staying at the stones that enable us to have good view of the place…. First and the last!!!

Putrajaya

Putrajaya is a new developed government base city which is around 30 mins away from KL. I like this place during night time because the scenery is very very nice. I feel relax when looking at the bridge and the lights on at the city. In front of you is a lake and the moonlight... You can imagine how romance and how nice is this place during night time.

During year of 2007/08, we went there wo watch the international fireworks. It's very nice and you have ever seen such a nice fireworks night at a such beacutiful place. How I wish I can stay there as there are country style houses nearby. The place makes me having that kind of peaceful mind. While starring at the lake during evening, my brain just stop right there it wasn't thinking anything. So I think this place is very nice and relaxing.

Nearby is Cyberjaya where I used to work there for quite sometime. There are 2 places which I like so much to have a meal. 1st will be the Arab food at the CBD Perdana, their rice with lamb and chicken (Kabsath, Habsath) is nice eating with their special chilies. Sometimes we still go back to have a dinner there. 2nd place will be a Thai restaurant and they really cook the food in Thai Style. Well... the tom yam may not taste that nice but the other dishes are fine.

After having dinner, can proceed to the lakeside to have a walk or a "heart to heart talk" session. Yah! I think that place quite suitable for those who likes to have heart talk to whosoever. For me, I think this is the only place I found which is clean, nice to relax my mind after the long working hours or harsh in life.

One of my friends has went to the new opened Pullman Putrajaya Resort to view the sunset. Accordingly, it's very nice and enjoying. I wish I can spend a time to have a look of the sunset in this place. Of course! It's recommended by me. Won't goes wrong!
